Inordinate amount of replies, lots of interesting, nonsensical, silly, maybe an occasional informative post but for the most part, social networking epitomized. I was reading a <a href="http://www.webware.com/8301-1_109-9961782-2.html?tag=cnetfd.mt" rel="nofollow">post</a> this morning that described plurk as "whacked-out"... OK, my first day away from plurk (Sunday) made me realize that I do enjoy plurk but it is frightening to return after being away. Inordinate amount of replies, lots of interesting, nonsensical, silly, maybe an occasional informative post but for the most part, social networking epitomized.

Plurk seems closer (than Twitter at least) to what I consider micro-blogging: each plurk can become a kind of blog post, with non-text content and a dedicated comment thread. And the comment threads!
